Expected Weather
Classic Central Coast fall: crisp, sunny days in the mid-60s to low 70s°F, and evenings that drop into the 40s. Be sure to pack a warm layer for the evenings and a lighter jacket or sweater for cool, sometimes foggy mornings.
Dress Code
Autumnal Formal
Think rich, deep hues, ankle-to-floor-length dresses, and suits with ties.
Keep in mind that our ceremony will take place outdoors, and the reception will follow in a heated, tented space. Central Coast evenings drop in temperature quickly once the sun sets, so while there will be heating, we highly recommend bringing a warm layer of your own. Comfortable shoes are encouraged.
Transportation
To allow everyone to celebrate fully and safely, complimentary transportation will be provided throughout the weekend's events. Rideshare is also readily available in the area.
Friday · Welcome Party
Ubers on us! We'll provide Uber vouchers from each hotel to the Welcome Party and back. There is free parking in a small lot and along the street available for designated drivers.
Saturday · Ceremony
A shuttle will depart from Solvang Inn & Cottages promptly at 3:15 PM to bring guests to Hotel Ynez for the ceremony at 3:30 PM.
Following the vows, the shuttle will depart Hotel Ynez at 4:45 PM to take everyone to Bar Le Côte just in time for Champagne Hour at 5:00 PM. Beginning at 9:00 PM, shuttles will run on a continuous loop to provide return service back to both hotels through the end of the night.
